Sixth Form Curriculum

Sixth Form Curriculum

Each Sixth Form student has their own specific goal and ambition and we ensure that each student has a personalised curriculum that meets their individual requirements. Students choose from a diverse range of qualifications so that they are able to participate in challenging and enjoyable courses.

Students are expected to study a minimum of 3 A2 subjects and may study 4 with agreement from the Director of Sixth Form.  A number of subjects have opted to enter students for AS exams and this was done at the request of individual subjects.

All students are expected to complete work experience throughout their course, to help support their future career aspirations and to engage actively in recreational physical education, as well as a programme of careers preparation and personal and social development. We also run active student voice sessions and have an expectation that all students engage in whole school contributions such as lunch time duties.
