The Duston School is consulting on a proposed change to our Year 7 admission arrangements for 2027.  At this stage the amendments are 'proposed' and are under public consultation.

Key changes are outlined below:

• Enable pupils on roll in Year 6 in the primary phase of The Duston School to automatically receive places in our Year 7 cohort. (this criteria has therefore been removed from the oversubscription criteria)

• Reduce the Published Admissions Number (PAN) to 180 in Year 7 (the capacity for Year 7 is 240 which includes the 60 children transferring from Year 6).
