On April 1 April 2021 the NSPCC launched a dedicated helpline for children and young people who have experienced sexual harassment or abuse at school and for worried adults and professionals that need support and guidance.

Working with the DfE, who commissioned the initiative, the bespoke helpline provides appropriate support and advice to victims of abuse/harassment and concerned adults; including onward action such as contacting the police if desired.

The dedicated NSPCC helpline number is 0800 136 663 or you can email help@nspcc.org.uk

The new dedicated helpline will offer support to:

  • All children and young people who have experienced abuse at school and for worried adults and professionals that need support and guidance – including for non-recent abuse.
  • All children and young people who have experienced abuse at school and for worried adults and professionals that need support and guidance – including for non-recent abuse.
