Maple House

Maple House motto is, "Don't wait for opportunity; create it". In Maple, we focus on proactively looking for opportunities to succeed in life, actively pursuing them and challenging ourselves to step outside of our comfort zone. We pride ourselves on exemplifying the school values of respect, resilience and aspiration, celebrated via house points.

What happens in Maple?

• We host regular house events and competitions from bake off to taskmaster to quizzes.
• We raise money for charity.
• We hold termly celebration assemblies which I like to make fun and interactive with games and prizes to celebrate our successes!
• We compete against the other houses in sports and other subject competitions.
• We take part in the House Voice via our House Prefects, selected from each year group to give pupils a voice across the school and who meet regularly with the principal.
• Our tutor groups receive weekly visit from our Sixth Form Maple Captains and myself.
• We win! Last year we won all of sports day!

The prestigious House trophy is awarded to the winning house each year who have the most House Points.

We look forward to welcoming new students to Maple House to join in the fun and bring out their competitive side!
