Educational Visits & Outdoor Education

During the year, there are a variety of educational visits available to the students. These range from local visits within lesson time to nearby places of interest, to residential activities further afield. Parents will always be given reasonable advance notice of visits and will be informed as to which visits are compulsory and those that are optional.

Educational visits are a valuable way to further supplement and enhance our curriculum, they expand our students’ education and provide enriching social and cultural experiences, teaching life skills and promoting independent learning, providing a foundation for lifelong learning, and they form an integral part of our approach to furthering our students’ education and personal growth.
