The Role of Members

Signatories of the articles of association (if they are founding members).
Amend the articles of association by passing a special resolution, subject to any restrictions created by the funding agreement or charity law.
Furthering the trusts' charitable objectives.
Appoint new members or remove serving members.
Appoint new trustees, according to the articles of association, and remove serving trustees.
Appoint the trust’s external auditors and receive (but do not sign) the audited annual report and accounts.
Have power to change the company’s name and, ultimately, wind it up.
