Our KS5 BTEC Business Extended Certificate aims to develop confident, independent learners with a strong understanding of how businesses operate in the real world. The course encourages an entrepreneurial mindset and prepares students for further study, apprenticeships, or careers in business.
The course is designed to provide students with applied business knowledge and real-world skills. Through topics such as marketing, finance, and recruitment, students learn to analyse businesses, make informed decisions, and understand how organisations succeed. A blend of coursework and examined units ensures students develop both academic understanding and practical employability skills relevant to the modern workplace.
