In Year 7, pupils begin to develop an awareness of themselves, the world of work and the wide range of opportunities available to them.                                                                                They are supported to:

• Recognise their interests, strengths and personal qualities
• Explore different careers and industries
• Understand how school subjects connect to the world of work
• Develop skills including communication, teamwork and problem-solving
• Challenge stereotypes about jobs and the people who undertake them
• Begin using Unifrog to explore opportunities and record experiences
• Meet employers and learn about different career journeys
