The Role of Members

• Signatories of the articles of association (if they are founding members).
• Amend the articles of association by passing a special resolution, subject to any restrictions created by the funding agreement or charity law.
• Furthering the trusts' charitable objectives.​
• Appoint new members or remove serving members.
• Appoint new trustees, according to the articles of association, and remove serving trustees.
• Appoint the trust’s external auditors and receive (but do not sign) the audited annual report and accounts.
• Have power to change the company’s name and, ultimately, wind it up.
