Combined Cadet Force; School Staff Instructor & Adventure Training Leader
Hours of work: 0.4FTE (2 days per week, 41 weeks per year) (Permanent)
Salary: £8763 Actual salary (£24,012 per annum FTE)
Plus additional funding, Volunteer Allowance (VA), paid directly by the MoD

Location: Duston, Northampton
The Duston School wishes to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified individual as School Staff Instructor (SSI); to support the Commanding Officer of The Duston School to establish and implement the development of the CCF (Army) and Adventure Training.
The role of the CCF SSI will be to ensure the effective operation of all aspects of the support service to the CCF and to establish coordination of Adventure Training (AT) opportunities at the secondary phase of TDS (including aspects of the Duke of Edinburgh award).
The successful candidate will be committed to developing the very highest standards for the CCF through outstanding support and demonstration. The candidate will be well qualified with recent training experience and be able to add significant value to the CCF and AT programmes.
We are looking for:
A self-motivated SSI & AT Leader who will use their initiative to contribute effectively to the development of the programmes of work at TDS.
An individual who is passionate about CCF and AT; with the ability to think creatively to generate the growth and engagement of CCF and AT with both students and adults across the School.
