Please be advised that on Thursday 27th February we will be holding an academic mentoring day for all year 11 students. This day will serve as an opportunity to meet with your son/daughter’s form tutor. There will be the opportunity to discuss your child’s progress across all aspects of their school life and targets will be set by the tutor and other relevant staff to help your son/daughter to make as much progress as possible in the remaining weeks before the GCSE exams begin.    

All students will also have a meeting with a member of the senior leadership team, in addition to meeting with their form tutor, to discuss their Post 16 plans. Where parents have direct concerns regarding a particular subject there will be the opportunity to discuss these with the relevant Director of Learning for Science, English, Maths and Languages.   

Please note that the taught curriculum will be suspended for this day. Parental meetings with staff will commence from 12.00pm, with the last appointment scheduled for 6:50pm. Meeting slots with staff can be booked via the link below and students are actively encouraged to attend these meetings. All students will be allocated a SLT meeting slot 10-20 minutes after the initial tutor appointment. Director of Year (DOY) and subject appointments with the Directors of Learning (DOL) will only be made where the DOY/DOL has requested a meeting.
